A leaf/fan rake is a lightweight rake with flat, springy tines spreading outward in the shape of a fan. This rake is intended to glide over grass without destroying it or digging into the turf. Lawn rakes and leaf rakes are two different terms for the same thing. They also differ from lawn rakes due to the fact that they feature plastic tines that are solely intended to move leaves, grass clippings, and other light debris.
