About Us
Passing on the Legacy
Our family’s love affair with plants started in the 1960’s. My grandparents, Lolo Miguel and Lola Irenea, founded their livelihood as roving plant vendors in Quezon City. With their mobile pushcart, they grew and sold a variety of roses, flowerpots, and fertilizers. They brought joy to their “suki” in the local markets and delivered plants door-to-door. Through God’s favor and blessing, their business flourished.
They raised their family of six children through college – one of whom is my mother, Tess. Together with my dad's (Nars) entrepreneurial skills, they grew the family plant business by providing plants and gardening supplies in different malls in Metro Manila. 
This legacy of the “maghahalaman family” continues through us, their children. My husband Tim and I with our three children, Faith, Samuel, and Matthew in collaboration with my brothers Paul and Tim seek to bring the business to a new level in response to the needs of the modern and urban “maghahalaman” (gardener). We offer you Halamanin as a one-stop shop that will provide quality plants and garden supplies online.

Our mission is to be your one-stop source for urban gardening needs and information. We believe that growing and caring for plants in our daily life will help build family relationships and foster healthy work environments while protecting nature.
